ALLAN CORFIELD STRUCTURES
Allan Corfield Structures (ACS) was established in early 2021 to augment our parent company Allan Corfield Architects (ACA), by providing complete design services for its Custom & Self build clients. Led by our Technical Director, Chartered Structural Engineer David Gallagher, ACS now offers a market-leading service for all external clients.
Our growing team works all over the UK providing the engineering services in our two offices in Dalgety Bay and Swindon.

Adopting BIM design and analysis software helps ACS integrate with the wider design team and clients from the concept design stage.

AC Structures operates as a stand-alone professional Structural Engineering company, while benefitting from the same ultimate shareholding structure as ACA; we work together from the very start of your project and share offices, resources, and most importantly combine our complementary professional expertise from the conception of your project.
We are delighted to provide this unique offering to our clients that symphonises the design process and avoids the inherent inefficiencies endured on projects with traditional team arrangements where the structural engineer is brought in after key design decisions have already been made.
ALLAN CORFIELD ARCHITECTS
Established in 2009 ACA have been helping self-builders design their dream homes, working on over 400 projects, spread across the length of the UK.
Working predominately on residential projects; including small extensions, one-off homes and large housing developments. ACA provide Architecture, Energy Assessment and now Structural Engineering services on all of our low energy eco homes.
These are built around the Fabric first approach, utilising modern methods of construction such as Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), Timber Frame and Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF).
ACA have a team of 14 talented and experienced designers working from home and our base in Dalgety Bay. We also have a base in Swindon at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre.
