Graduate Structural Engineer

 

An exciting opportunity for the right graduate, to join a new and growing Structural Engineering firm, specialising in residential design.

Job Description

 

ACS is a new firm established earlier this year, trading profitably for 3 months, in this time ACS has secured over 20 projects and is looking to add to its growing team.

ACS also benefits from shared marketing, office management, accountancy, and HR from its parent company AC Architects (who have been trading since 2009) – therefore we need the best engineers to run an already established business model!

About you

 

You will be a recently qualified structural engineer, who likes working on bespoke residential projects and have aspirations of becoming Chartered.

The duties of this job require a high degree of specialised expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. Drive, determination, and a self-disciplined approach are necessary for successful job performance. The job environment is structured, and job expectations are clear. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised.

You will have experience in utilising BIM software for design, analysis, and calculations.

Responsibilities

You will support and be guided by our senior team, carrying out detailed structural design and analysis on our bespoke residential portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering

Location

The role will offer hybrid working – with the majority of the time office-based, with remote working. As our work is spread across the UK, you must be able to travel.
