ACS were appointed by the Client for the structural design and SER certification for the conversion of a number of steading buildings into high end residential properties at Longnewton Farm near Gifford in East Lothian. ACS undertook the condition survey of the existing structures to determine the extent of remedial works and proposed structural alterations to convert the existing steadings into 7 dwellings maximising existing building features including glazed arches, feature trusses and exposed steel boulevard.
